There are many ways to communicate. But how you do so is critical. I seldom use 'texting' on phones for business communications. I ALWAYS use Email as it provides a documented record of communications. It is easy to maintain separate 'Client Folders' with many email clients. Because we have our own company ISP/Secure email services it is pretty easy to do. I have used many email clients. "The Bat" is one from RITLABS is a good one and it has a mirror client service that will work on your cell that syncronizes constantly. A couple years ago, I switched to a new email client called "eM Client". It has excellent screening/spam filtering and easy to use 'rules' to help sort inbound messages to appropriate folders; by domain, content or address. There are so many options/features it will blow you away. Like The Bat it has a Windows and Cell Client that auto-syncronizes!.
I'm sure you have a cell phone and if it has been 'updated' recently it probably has support to TWO different phone numbers. I strongly suggest you get both working. Try and keep one for personal use and the second one for business. While there are many mainstream cell phone companies, there are also a plethora of 'resellers' that offer substantial discounted services. While they don't have many of the bells & whistles that the mainline companies have they DO offer the same network services.
I suggest you check out Tello and Reach Mobile for their offerings. I use them both and they both use T-Mobile Networks. SO MUCH CHEAPER and Just as reliable.
